Regan began her career at the Canadian Opera Company where she learned to make beards, moustaches and wigs
and apply all kinds of character make-up.
After obtaining her hairstyling and barber's license, she went on to work at The Shaw Festival, Toronto Operetta Theatre,
Opera Atelier, Young People's Theatre, National Arts Centre, Canadian Stage, Theatre Plus and a host of other
productions that have come into Toronto. Theater has also taken her all around the United States.
However, the lure of film was too great and a new direction was taken. She won an Emmy Award and a Hollywood Makeup Artist's and Hairstylist's Guild Award in 2002 for her work on Anne Rice's
Feast of All Saints. The movie business has taken her to Victoria, BC, Vilnius, Lithuania and Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Regan's theatrical background has given her a great advantage in her film work technique. Her training gives her
the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently for those last-minute changes as well as being able to make wigs
and facial hair for her cast.
Regan still works with the Canadian Opera Company from time to time and enjoys working on the occasional theatre production.
